2009 Elephant Hill Central Otago Pinot NoirSourced from the Three Miners vineyard in Alexandra, Central Otago, the 2009 Pinot Noir typifies the elegance and complexity we strive for. A combination of clones, including 667, 114 and 777 were used in blending to showcase the broad flavour spectrum of Central Otago Pinot Noir. The grapes were carefully de-stemmed and fermented in traditional wooden cuvés. Following pressing, the wine spent 11 months maturing in oak barriques. It was then bottled with minimal fining and intervention. Elephant Hill’s Central Otago Pinot Noir exhibits black cherry flavours with subtle strawberry undertones. Notes of bay leaf and spice are also evident. A 10% discount is offered on all case purchases (12 bottles), this saving will be applied once 12+ bottles have been added to the shopping cart.
